We are so excited to begin our ExoLab experiment this week. On Sunday a rocket was launched in Virginia that contained several experiments, including a arabidopsis seed that we hope to watch grow while it is housed on the International Space Station. In our classroom we have a small black box equipped with tools to measure variables like, CO2 levels, temperature and humidity. Our classroom experiment will mimic the exact experiment on the ISS! We will be able to monitor both plants through a video feed and make side by side comparisons. Students have made predictions, watched the launch and are ready to record some data over the next several weeks.
